Our Year 4 children had a tiring time walking to and from the seafront at the start of our summer term, when they visited the historic site of Southsea Castle, built in 1544 for the Tudor monarch, King Henry VIII.
The pupils enjoyed learning about the castle and viewing the artifacts on display but grumbled about the long walk to the seafront! However, they dug deep and made it back to school in time for their lunch - well done for persevering Year 4!
