Year 1 visit Portchester Castle!

Our Year 1 classes each spent a day visiting the historic site of Portchester Castle in March, and took part in the 'In the Footstep of Kings' workshop. The staff at the English Heritage site took the pupils on a historical journey to explore the significance of the site, which has 1,700 years of history ranging from Roman forts to a medieval royal residence. Thank you to the staff at English Heritage Portchester Castle for providing two fun-filled days out for our children and staff, and to our parent helpers for giving up their time to assist!
