For Kindness Week this year, each year group at Ark Ayrton took part in an act of kindness for the local community; our Early Years children made cards for the staff in school, Year 1 sang a song for the pupils and staff at Ark Charter, Year 2 made a picture frame for the local doctors surgery, Year 3 make biscuits for the police, Year 4 made pizzas for the firefighters, Year 5 decorated 'kindness pebbles' to put out in the community, and Year 6 made afternoon tea for the residents at a local care home. Well done to all our pupils for showing kindness and gratitude within our community.
