Tuesday 24th March
We all have our part to play in helping to stop the spread of Coronavirus. This means we must stay at home to protect the NHS and help save lives.
Community Classrooms for vulnerable children and key workers’ children
Parents/carers should keep children at home wherever possible and thank you to everyone across our community who has followed that advice. The fewer children making the journey to school and the fewer children in our Community Classrooms, the lower the risk of the virus spreading.
The purpose of our Community Classroom to provide care for the children of key workers and children who are vulnerable. Only children in these categories can attend. Information on the list of key workers is here.
We will ask parents/carers each week to re-confirm if they want to continue using the Community Classroom in school.
Please continue to follow health guidance.

STAY HOME, PROTECT THE NHS, SAVE LIVES
Monday 23rd March 2020
Update on Coronavirus – This school is now closed.
We will be open this week only to support our vulnerable children and those of key workers in our ‘Community Classrooms’.
The Government guidance emphasises that parents should keep children at home wherever possible and that the fewer children making the journey to school and the fewer children in educational setting, the lower the risk of the virus spreading. We all need to work together to try and stem the spread of the virus.
We have contacted all parents to establish how many are key workers so we can make our plans and keep up to date. Please contact the school by phone if you believe you need to access this provision.
We will try to ensure and maintain as much stability for the childrens’ education as possible. Whilst we cannot ensure a full educational experience at home, we have been working hard to put in plans in place so that children can still access work and teachers are able to support their learning.
We will update this page and keep in touch with parents and students via text and Facebook.
While schools are closed, we should all continue to follow health guidance.

At these periods of uncertainty, it is essential that we have up to date email addresses and phone numbers for all parents. If you haven’t recently received an email or text message from us, please phone us with up to date contact details.
This is an unsettling and disruptive time for everyone and we will work together as a school and local community to face the challenging times ahead. Thank you for your support and understanding during these exceptional circumstances. If we can do anything more to help your family, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
